Personal Space

12 07 2011

London is not a great place for maintaining personal space. Most people get their 12-a-day by default by being crammed on the tube or bus. My new commute was looking good for maintaining personal space until I sat next the man who insisted on sitting sideways and leaning back so he could watch the approach to the station (is that really necessary?). He was practically sitting on me, and in turn I was alarmingly close to a poor school girl who looked as uncomfortable as I felt.
