Best of British

3 05 2011

I joined the crowds and went to central London to witness (via a massive screen) THE wedding. What a great day, every cross-section of society was in attendance, and bedecked in some kind of union flag. Even more entertaining than the fly over, and the cartwheeling verger were the three old ladies I got chatting to in the National Gallery. They could not have been more British, sporting flags as capes, ordering cups of tea and fish and chips whilst telling me (sparing no detail) their thoughts on the big day and how their hats were tied on securely with their best knicker elastic. It was the best of British days.
