Hen-do research

21 02 2010

I am a bridesmaid in a couple of months, and with the honor, comes responsibility. Which I have taken VERY seriously :) I am SERIOUSLY loving winding-up the bride-to-be. Her Bronte and Booze party is all planned out, the hen’s have received their scripts for the re-enactment of Wuthering Heights on the moors – and the video guys are prepped to make sure that her personalised DVD will become one of her all time favourites. Not one to do things by halves, I have also planned a second soiree. Saturday night was all about checking out whether the venue was suitable. It was more than suitable. I am not one to be left speechless, but I was. At one point I looked at my friend next to me, and she had the same expression as me. Gob smacked. It couldn’t be more perfect. Dancing to ||||||||||||||||||||‘s music, watching the ||||||||||||||||||||| ‘dancers’, and seeing the crowds |||||||||||||||| all together. Priceless. We tested the drinks. Looked at the loo’s and showed them how it was done on the dance floor. All good. But it had to be the  Micheal Jackson impersonator moon walking past with an inflatable monkey that sealed the deal. Bring on the hen do….
